Codecademy is a website that teaches subjects such as HTML/CSS and PHP to new students. The interactive experience allows for better retention of the material on-hand since the student is not just following examples; they are also encouraged to create their own code. As said in Module One, I have used Codecademy in the past and I am a fan. The PHP tutorial brought me new insight on the language and ironically, a better understanding of other languages such as C++ and Java. It took me around 4 hours to complete this course; however, I split it into two days. If you are curious, below are snapshots of the code I wrote along with evidence of completion.
