In the last module, I learned about JavaScript which is a scripting language that is supported by most web browsers. Many websites use JavaScript with a combination of HTML/CSS to manage their webistes on hte Internet. It is an essential language if you are a web developer.
There were only two assignments: the Codecademy JavaScript tutorial and the W3Schools quiz. I learned from a combination of both; however, W3Schools helped me the most in this case. I felt there was something missing during the Codecademy tutorial and although I enjoyed it, I did not feel it taught me everything I needed to know. W3Schools had more information regarding functions and arrays.
Through W3Schools, I learned JavaScript was not all that bad. If anything, it reminded me of previous languages that I had learned like C++ and Java. The W3Schools quiz was helpful because it focused my learning towards specific concepts. I took it twice. For the first time, I answered blindly to see what I had learned from the Codecademy tutorial. I got an 88%. I missed around four questions so I went to the tabs that corresponded to the material. The second time I took it I felt better about my knowledge and I ended with a 96%!
